New York, NY, December 22, 2005--The Conference Board announced today that the U.S. leading index increased 0.5 percent, the coincident index increased 0.2 percent, and the lagging index increased 0.6 percent in November.

Weekly Jobless Claims Off 13,000

Washington, DC, December 22, 2005--First-time applications for state unemployment benefits fell by 13,000 to a seasonally adjusted 318,000 in the week ending Dec. 17, the Labor Department reported Thursday.
