Piscataway, NJ, May 23, 2006—According to an announcement from American Standard Companies, John Rietveldt has been named vice president and general manager of that company’s Bath and Kitchen business in Europe, which is based in Brussels, Belgium. He will join the company at the end of August.
For the past three years, John Rietveldt has served as president of Tarkett's residential division, leading the company’s sales, marketing and operational efforts.
American Standard is the world's largest manufacturer of bath and kitchen products and Europe represents its top market for those products.
Prior to joining Tarkett, Rietveldt spent eight years in leadership roles at Whirlpool, as vice president of sales for Europe.
