London, England, May 23, 2006--Topps Tiles said on Tuesday that first-half like-for-like revenue fell 4 percent as pretax profit dropped 6.7 percent.
The company, which has 258 stores across the UK, said pretax profit in the 26 weeks to April 1 was 20.27 million pounds, down from 21.72 million a year ago, while like-for-like sales fell 4 percent on a revenue dip of 1.2 percent to 88.57 million pounds.
