Faus Group’s Juan Flores on Intellectual Property – Part 2
March 3, 2007—Juan Flores, President of Faus Group, in the second part of a four-part series talks more about the patent lawsuit situation that occurred at Domotex, the specific technology that was involved, the losses the company incurred at Domotex and the insuing actions the company is contemplating. Flores discusses the cross-licensing agreement it had with Unilin, why it was terminated with Mohawk’s acquisition of Unilin, the intellectual property that Faus holds in the industry and its strategy in terms of licensing and cross-licensing agreements going forward and the technology currently being developed upon which Faus will seek patents.
