New Home Sales Rose 10.6% in July

Washington, DC, August 23, 2024—Sales of new single-family houses in July 2024 were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 739,000, according to estimates released by the U.S. Census Bureau and the Department of Housing and Urban Development, 10.6% above the revised June rate of 668,000 and 5.6% above the July 2023 estimate of 700,000.

STIC Investments to Buy Nox for $336 Million

Seoul, Korea, August 23, 2024-"Seoul-based private equity firm STIC Investments has agreed to acquire global leading luxury vinyl tile (LVT) flooring firm Nox Corp. at 450 billion won ($336 million) from U.S. alternative investment manager TPG Inc.,” reports The Korea Economic Daily.
