Lowe's to Open Canadian Stores in 2007

Mooresville, NC, June 6--Lowe's said today that the company plans to build on its aggressive expansion plan by extending the reach of its stores into Canada. The company said it expects to open its first Canadian stores in Toronto in 2007.

Payrolls Up by 78,000, Unemployment Drops to 5.1%
