The Dixie Group's Bill Waters to Retire

Dalton, GA, June 10, 2025-The Dixie Group (TDG) has announced that Bill Waters, senior vice president Central U.S., has announced his intention to retire at the end of July.

Bill has been a key part of TDG for the past 22+ years. He initially joined the company to build a sales force to support the new Dixie Home brand (now DH Floors), which was launched in early 2003. His role expanded several times over the years to include sales leadership for all brands in large regions across the United States. Waters is a key part of the company’s relationship with the NFA.

Prior to joining TDG, Waters held multiple leadership positions in the industry with companies such as World Carpets, Mohawk, and Beaulieu. Altogether, Bill has nearly 50 years of service in the flooring industry.
