Patti Stasiak, President All American Wood Registe

Wonder Lake, IL, March 30, 2006--Tom Stasiak, vice president of All American Wood Register Co., manufacturer of wood vents and registers, announced today the loss of his wife and business partner, Patti Stasiak. She passed away on March 24 at 59 years of age. “We found out very recently that Patti has, apparently for some time, had bone cancer,” said Stasiak. “It was already Stage III by the time we learned of it, and had grown quite aggressive. We had less than two months between diagnosis and the time she passed.” Patti was the president of the Stasiak’s family business, All American Wood Register Co., and was active in the floorcovering industry. All American was a longstanding member of the National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA), and Patti served on the organization’s membership committee from 1997-2004. Stasiak emphasizes that the business remains active, and that their normal business routine will soon be back in place. “We discussed everything,” he said, “and Patti did a good job training our administrative staff. Our customers needn’t worry about any blips in our service or quality.” “Everyone loved Patti,” says Stasiak. “She was a diligent worker, but she really knew how to have fun. We’re all going to miss her so much, but we have to keep going. Patti gave her all to this industry, and we’re very proud of everything she helped accomplish. We’re determined to honor her by continuing to take care of this company into which she poured heart and soul.”
