NWFA Says CEO Korczak To Retire This Year

St. Louis, MO, July 14, 2010--As Floordaily previously reported in April, National Wood Flooring Association Executive Director/CEO Ed Korczak will retire at the end of 2011.

NWFA made the formal announcement in a press release Tuesday.

Korczak has run the association since 1994, growing the NWFA’s membership from 800 to 3,400 member companies. He also was instrumental in developing the NWFA’s installation guidelines, technical training programs, and annual convention, which is the largest convention anywhere dedicated exclusively to wood flooring.

A search committee has been established to hire a successor.

The National Wood Flooring Association is a non-profit trade organization with members world-wide.
