NWFA Offers 'How to Make Money on Every Job

St. Louis, MO, May 10--The NWFA has released the latest CD set in its management education series, "How to Make Money on Every Job." Designed for the flooring contractor, this 2-CD set identifies the differences between margins and markups, and demonstrates the strategies and techniques necessary to effectively estimate job costs for increase profits. The first CD in the set includes instructional material for job estimating, job costing, and converting estimates to sales. The second CD in the set includes three form templates that will help you prepare an accurate cost of material, labor, and other direct costs for each job. The forms included are Cost-Based Estimate in Summary, which demonstrates how to calculate the desired margin to establish a selling price, Cost-Based Estimate in Detail, which helps prepare an accurate cost of material, labor and other direct costs for each job, and Job-Cost Analysis, which compares job estimates to actual job costs. The forms are formatted in Excel, and can be downloaded directly to your personal computer. The CDs are $20 for NWFA members, and $40 for nonmembers.
