NWFA Expo To Feature Industry Issues Forum
St. Louis, MO, March 29, 2012 -- The National Wood Flooring Association Expo April 10-13 in Orlando will feature an Industry Issues Forum showcasing industry leaders from the flooring and hardwood industries.
They will provide information about everything from the Lacey Act legislation to election predictions.
Mark Barford, executive director of the National Hardwood Lumber Association, will provide an outlook from the U.S. lumber market.
Pamela Bowe, executive director of FCB2B, will discuss technology.
Tom Inman, president of Appalachian Hardwood Manufacturers, will talk about the latest Life Cycle Analysis studies and the sustainability of wood.
Linda Jovanovich, executive vice president of the Hardwood Manufacturers Association, will talk about the marketing success of the American Hardwoods Promotion.
Linda Kramme, manager of the Global Forest & Trade Network of the World Wildlife Fund, will discuss the network's sourcing efforts.
Brent McClendon, executive director of the International Wood Products Association, will discuss the international markets.
Fiona Mulligan of the Forest Legality Alliance will provide details on the Lacey Act and the Gibson Guitar case in Tennessee.
Grace Terpstra, principal of Terpstra Associates, discuss the latest efforts from the Hardwood Federation.
