NTCA Names 2026 Tom Ade Scholarship Winners

Jackson, MS, March 30, 2026-The National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) has announced the recipients of the 2026 Tom Ade Scholarships, which will be presented April 1 at the NTCA Awards Night at Coverings 2026.

Eleven years ago, NTCA Contractor Member Tom Ade established this scholarship fund, which has become foundational in NTCA’s mission to foster the next generation of leaders. The scholarship fund enables NTCA to provide each winner with $5,000 to assist in the pursuit of their academic and career goals.

Dal-Tile and Laticrete have joined this effort as sponsors of the scholarship program. Together with Ade’s generosity-and through NTCA-these scholarships reflect the industry’s collective dedication to nurturing talent and investing in the future.

The three recipients of the NTCA 2026 Tom Ade Scholarships are,

Joseph Belyea is a senior at Weymouth High School in Massachusetts and the son of 2026 Ambassador of the Year Stephen Belyea of JSG Tile.  Joseph is a highly accomplished musician, having played the saxophone since age ten. He is the lead saxophonist in his jazz band and attends the UMASS Amherst Jazz in July program on a full scholarship, with the opportunity to study under world-renowned jazz musicians for a week.  Joseph plans to pursue a biology degree at the College of the Holy Cross or a similar institution as he prepares for the MCAT and medical school.

Ashlyn Miller claims some of the most influential lessons she has learned in life have come from observing her mom, Jennifer, and stepdad, Troy Servais, from Lewiston, Minnesota, run their tile business, Servais Tile & Stone, Inc.  After graduating high school as valedictorian, Ashlyn is enrolled at the University of Wisconsin, pursuing a double major in neurobiology and psychology.  Ashlyn’s goal is to become a physician who provides compassionate and empathetic care, grounded in scientific understanding.  She is an active participant in numerous community projects and has led efforts to support education on important topics such as drug awareness, bullying prevention, and managing mental health challenges.

Ethan Fox is a senior at St. Mary's High School in Kansas. Ethan will attend Kansas’ Pittsburg State University, and major in construction management. Ethan hopes to join his father Kevin and grandfather Jerry in the family business. Ethan is proud of the family legacy started by Jerry as a sole proprietorship. Ethan’s dad Kevin has helped grow the company to the highly respected commercial and residential business it is today. Fox Ceramic Tile, Inc., is a distinguished NTCA Five-Star Contractor, and Ethan looks forward to assisting with a transition to a third-generation company.
