Michel Vermette Named CEO of America’s Floor Source
Columbus, OH, March 13, 2023-Michel Vermette has been named CEO and CFO of America’s Floor Source (AFS).
Vermette has over thirty years of operational and financial leadership in the building products industry, earned while most recently serving as chief executive officer and board member of Armstrong (AFI). While in that role, he led the sale of AFI’s assets to three international consortiums. Prior to that, Vermette led multiple business units as president and operated in different chief financial officer roles across the globe for Mohawk Industries (MHK).
The founder of America’s Floor Source, Jason Goldberg, has transitioned to the role of chairman and chief operating officer. Goldberg will continue to be very active in AFS operations. He will focus on continuous process and system improvements, while ensuring service for America’s Floor Source customers. He also remains committed to personnel development, concentrating on training and supporting each employee’s growth to their full potential.
America’s Floor Source is a Columbus, Ohio-based flooring business serving the homebuilder, residential, multifamily, wholesale and commercial markets with five locations in Ohio and four additional locations in Indiana and Kentucky. The company was founded in 2000 and has been growing through acquisitions, having recently acquired Reliant Flooring Solutions, The Flooring Gallery and JP Flooring.
While adding flooring businesses, America’s Floor Source sold off its software business. In 2021, Broadlume acquired its Retail Lead Management CRM software that was developed by Jason Goldberg.
