Greenguard Children & Schools Certifies Anderson

Clinton, SC, Aug. 17, 2010--Anderson said that all of its hardwood flooring products are now Greenguard Children & Schools Certified, and are listed on the Greenguard Environmental Institute website.

Greenguard created the Children & Schools Certification Program to recognize companies whose products meet or exceed stringent requirements for low chemical emissions.

"We were pleased to be the first hardwood flooring manufacturer to earn GEI's Greenguard Indoor Air Quality Certification on all our brands and now to be recognized for meeting their prestigious Greenguard Children & Schools standard makes us even prouder,” said Don Finkell, Anderson’s president.

Anderson Hardwood is an independent operating company owned by Shaw Industries.
