Floorcovering Best of Year Awards Announced in New York
New York, NY, December 3, 2015—Interior Design magazine hosted its tenth annual Best of Year (BOY) Awards last night, recognizing the top products and projects in the commercial interiors market.
There are seven floorcovering categories in the awards and the winning companies and products are listed below by category.
Broadloom Carpet: OW Hospitality for New Neo
Modular Carpet: Interface for Equal Measure
Area Rug: Nanimarquina for Melange
Hard Surface: Metroflor for Aspecta Abstracts LVT
Healthcare: Mannington Commercial for Teles High
Hospitality: Mohawk Group for Lakir by Durkan
Tile and Stone: Mosaics Marti for Atlas
Qualified interior designers and architects selected BOY product design finalists during a two-week period in October via an online vote, and category winners were determined by a jury of leading architects and designers. According to Interior Design Magazine officials, the tenth Annual BOY program had more than 1,000 product submissions. More than a thousand people from the design community attended the BOY awards event at the IAC Building in New York City.
