ENMAR Hardwood Receives Two NWFA Awards

Mesa, AZ, June 12, 2007--Mesa’s ENMAR Harwood Flooring has won top honors in this year’s National Wood Flooring Association Wood Floor of the Year contest. Out of 215 entries from six countries, ENMAR Hardwood Flooring won for Best Entry/Foyer and Best Reclaimed. The awards were presented during the NWFA’s annual convention in Denver, Colo., April 10-13.

The Best Entry/Foyer category recognizes high quality wood flooring installations in residential settings, such as entries, foyers, hallways and stairways; while the Best Reclaimed division acknowledges superior installations in both residential and commercial settings.

“We are extremely honored to receive these awards,” said Tricia Thompson, co-owner of ENMAR Hardwood Flooring. “ENMAR prides itself on quality craftsmanship, so it is very satisfying to see our work recognized in this way. We are especially excited that our reclaimed wood flooring has been singled out. As eco-conscience grows, we feel this is an important way we can reuse existing materials.”

Harvested from centuries-old structures, the company’s reclaimed wood flooring is milled into a finished product that is both durable and beautiful. “We’re using a part of history,” Thompson said, “and our clients are happy to know they’re not destroying forests.”
