Armstrong Flooring Donates to Award-Winning Green Home 3.0

Fullerton, CA, July 27, 2017-Judges for the 2017 Gold Nugget Awards have named the ABC Green Home 3.0 as a Grand Award winner in its annual competition, which honors architectural design and planning excellence and draws entries from throughout the world.

The ABC Green Home 3.0 is the third iteration of the ABC (Affordable, Buildable, Certifiable) Green Home, which was used to educate and train builders, students, industry groups, and thousands of visitors before being made available to a deserving veteran and his family.

Armstrong Flooring contributed its U.S.-made American Scrape Hickory" engineered floors. The hickory floors in this collection have a subtle rustic scrape, which creates a richly textured look. This scrape highlights the distinctive graining and knots of the wood species.
