Clinton, SC, September 9-- Anderson Hardwood Floors, one of the fastest growing manufacturers in the category, introduced a new name in its family of brands here today: Anderson Pacific. Anderson Pacific is an all-new hardwood collection that doesn’t compete with offerings from the other Anderson family brands ~ Anderson, Appalachian and Virginia Vintage ~ according to Anderson President and CEO Don Finkell. Initial Anderson Pacific hardwood floor collections include Homestead, Cumberland and Hemispheres. Homestead is a collection of 3” wide, 3/8” thick, engineered, multi-ply planks in red and white oak. Homestead ~ which is available in four colors: Natural, Honey, Gunstock and Chestnut ~ allows Anderson to introduce a high-quality oak floor that can retail for under $3.00 per square foot. Cumberland is a collection of 31/4” wide, 3/4” solid hardwood flooring in oak and maple. Cumberland allows Anderson to offer for the first time, a traditional 3/4” solid flooring that can retail for under $4.50 per square foot. Cumberland is available in oak in four colors: Straw, Canebrake, Rain Barrel and Outpost, and two colors in maple: Rustic River and Wilderness. Hemispheres is an 8” wide, 9/16” thick, 3 strip, multi-ply, 86-1/2” long, long-strip in a collection of six exotic species: Manchurian Maple, Siberian Oak, Chinese Bamboo, Malaysian Merbau, Brazilian Cherry and African Ebony. Manchurian Maple comes in two colors: Glacier and Country; Siberian Oak in three colors: Wheat, Caramel and Gunstock; Chinese Bamboo in two colors: Natural and Carbonized. Malaysian Merbau, Brazilian Cherry and African Ebony are available in natural finishes. Anderson’s first entry into the long-strip category, the Hemispheres collection will retail between $4.50 and $8.00 per square foot. All three collections are manufactured with a scratch-resistant, u/v cured polyurethane finish with aluminum oxide, and carry a 15-year finish warranty. Homestead and Hemispheres also carry lifetime structural warranties backed by Anderson. The displays are designed to take up little more than two square feet of floor space each and hold 20 oversized 16”x 16” samples with room scenes on the back, each unique to the product on the face.
