Starnet Fall Meeting in Austin, Texas Concluded Yesterday

Austin, TX, October 31, 2022-Starnet’s fall meeting just concluded at the Omni Barton Creek in Austin, Texas. The event ran October 27 to 30.

There were approximately 350 attendees; this is the first fall meeting the group has held since the pandemic.

The theme of the meeting is Keys to Success with key rally points as follows: challenges of workplace culture, led by speaker Andrew Oxley of the Oxley Group; productivity; and deployment of digital technology.

Mark Bischoff, CEO of Starnet, reports that business is good for members, with numbers above budget across the board and particular strength in carpet.

Members are optimistic about the start of 2023 with metrics showing that investment in real estate is strong. The group reports good activity in the office sector and is expecting healthcare to strengthen due to greater demand for services and the transition in service types. Hospitality has not been as strong as the group has hoped for, but Bischoff notes that several members have large projects in the pipeline.

The group added five new members in 2022 with Diverzify, which acquired Spectra in February, committing to retain its membership .In total, the group now represents 398 service locations across the U.S. and Canada with 175 shareholders.

This year, AHF Products joined Starnet as a vendor and Floorcloud as a service provider.

This year’s meeting includes the first formal live event for the Amazing Women of Starnet (AWS) group.
