Novalis Invites Raefer Wallis to Speak at Guangzhou Design Week

Toronto, ON, January 5, 2016—At the invitation of Novalis Innovative Flooring, Raefer Wallis spoke to a packed assembly on the topic of “RESET Certified: Building data meets social data” at Guangzhou Design Week, December 3 to 5 in Guangzhou, China.

Wallis is the founder of GIGA, an internationally recognized team of architects promoting green building in China.

Wallis was also a speaker at Greenbuild in Washington D.C. last October.

RESET is the world’s first project certification to focus on the health of people in buildings. According to GIGA, this issue is important considering people spend, on average, 90% of their time indoors.

Wallis’ presentation was about the merger of building data and social data and the transition to thinking of buildings not just as green buildings but also as healthy buildings.
