NFA Fall Meeting Confirmed for September With Additional Safety Measures

July 30, 2020–Ahead of the National Floorcovering Alliance’s Fall Conference, the organization has released some added safety measures that will be in place amid the COVID-19 outbreak.

  • Temperatures will be recorded for 100% of participants for these two, day-long events and will be taken at the beginning of each morning before the member and vendor meetings.

  • Clear face shields will be required during the vendor meeting to allow face-to-face interaction and will be provided upon check-in; masks will be available, as well, but participants are encouraged to bring their own.

  • Space for the vendor meeting has been doubled.

  • Dining venues will provide room for everyone to spread out safely/sufficiently. And dining tables will have fewer chairs.

  • Buffets will be one-sided with professional servers serving the food.

The conference will take place September 22-25 at The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa. It will begin on a Tuesday, rather than Monday as it normally does.

Earlier this year, the NFA postponed its spring meeting but ultimately canceled it until next year (read more: https://bit.ly/39GnjIx).
