Mirage Unveils New 5 Inch Engineered Flooring Prod

Saint-Georges, Quebec, May 25--Mirage has announced the availability of new 5 inch wide planks for its Engineered flooring collection. The new, wider planks reflect the latest design trends in hardwood flooring and are manufactured to meet growing consumer demand in both North America and Europe. "Our new 5 inch plank widths are another example of how Mirage is on the leading edge of popular designs and truly understands the products that consumers want today," said Luc Robitaille, vice president of marketing for Boa-Franc Inc, the parent company for Mirage prefinished hardwood floors. "We are continually investing in new technologies to be able to provide the products that consumers want most, and the new planks are a direct result of our modern equipment and the ingenuity of our team." The new plank widths are available in Exclusive Oak and Maple in a choice of Natural, Auburn, Nevada or Sierra stains. Mirage plans to add more stain colors and finishes for 5 inch planks in the near future, including its Cashmere (low-gloss) finish and semi-gloss finish. The new planks complement a number of other new products introduced by Mirage in 2005. Earlier this year, the company introduced several new Engineered products, including dark purple Merlot and black Sambuca stains on Maple and Birch, and dark brown Java on Yellow Birch.
