Laticrete Begins Construction of Shanghai Facility

Shanghai, China, September 17, 2007--Laticrete International Inc. started the construction of its Asia-Pacific production base at Songjiang District in southwest Shanghai on September 12, according to SinoCast.

According to the report, the new plant consists of dry powder production lines and emulsions production lines, and will be able to provide almost all kinds of dry powder products, emulsion products, epoxy products for markets of northeast Asia, East Asia, and most of Southeast Asia area.

Founded in 1956, Laticrete International manufactures professional tile and stone installation systems and weather resistant installation systems for ceramic tilt, pavers, brick and stone. The new plant will be the company's biggest outside the U.S.
