Washington, DC, March 27, 2017—The Coalition for Fair Trade of Hardwood Plywood (CFTHP) has filed "critical circumstances" petitions with the Department of Commerce to stop a recent surge of Chinese hardwood plywood imports into the U.S. in an illegal attempt to flood the market before antidumping and countervailing duty orders are imposed, reports the Hardwood, Plywood & Veneer Association (HPVA).
