Deadlines Extended in Ceramic Antidumping Case Against India
Glen Ellyn, IL, September 10, 2024—The International Trade Administration (ITA) in the Ceramic Tile from India Antidumping (AD) and Countervailing Duty (CVD) cases, Case Nos. A-533-928 and C-533-929, respectively, has extended the deadlines for issuance of its preliminary decisions in both cases, reports the Ceramic Tile Distributors Association.
Dodge Momentum Index Rose 2.9% in August
Bedford, MA, September 10, 2024—The Dodge Momentum Index (DMI), issued by Dodge Construction Network, increased 2.9% in August to 220.4 (2000=100) from the revised July reading of 214.2. Over the month, commercial planning expanded 1.9% and institutional planning improved 5.7%.
Construction Backlog Indicator Declined to 8.2 Months in August
Washington, DC, September 10, 2024—Associated Builders and Contractors reported that its Construction Backlog Indicator fell to 8.2 months in August, according to an ABC member survey conducted August 20 to September 5. The reading is down 1.0 months from August 2023.
