XL Generation Announces European Turf Deal with BA

Cologne, Germany, November 8, 2005--XL Generation International Inc., a provider of artificial turf products and other leisure and sports surfaces announced today a major cooperation agreement with BASF and FEBRA to manufacture and supply the product XL Turf in Europe. This announcement follows the license agreement signed with AP WORLDWIDE Inc., from Korea, for the manufacturing and distribution of XL Turf products in Asia. XL Turf is the first long pile artificial turf product which offers its customers to dispense with sand and rubber granulates and to be made exclusively of polymer. With such a cooperation agreement, the three partners will reinforce, as a group, their leading position in the sports business community in Europe. BASF will produce the Neopolen P (EPP), a specialty foam bead based on polypropylene. Febra will offer its molding and tooling expertise to manufacture the energy absorbing base component from the foam as integral part of XL Turf. XL Generation will produce and distribute the final XL surface. XL Turf provides an excellent choice for football, rugby, tennis, golf and paintball, especially because the artificial turf offers high playing comfort and prevents sports-related injuries. The foam base is also used in playground, landscape and flooring products. Since it is a mobile system, the XL surface is ideally suited for multi-functional stadiums. The whole surface can be removed and re-installed in minimal time to accommodate various events. This feature, which is sold at a very competitive price, has a considerable impact on the economic performance of the stadiums. H.E. Ambassador Alain Lemieux, president and CEO of XL Generation said: "We have launched an international effort to create awareness for our products and in the last few months alone we have made enormous progress and receive confirmation of the acceptance of our competitive advantage over existing products using infill. We are more than pleased with our results so far." BASF is the world's leading chemical company with a portfolio ranging from chemicals, plastics, performance products, agricultural products and fine chemicals to crude oil and natural gas. FEBRA is a major molder of products for the automotive, packaging and leisure industries. XL Generation is a major supplier of artificial turf surfaces. Based in Zug, Switzerland, it holds the worldwide commercial and manufacturing rights for the revolutionary "XL technology" protected by a web of patent/patent applications in up to 42 jurisdictions.
