Wrap Plant Picks North Carolina Site

Thomasville, NC, August 30--Imaflex Inc., a Canadian plastics manufacturer will operate a 93,000-square-foot plant in Thomasville, North Carolina that was once owned by Tyco Plastics. Imaflex will get $125,000 from the One North Carolina Fund, which represents a pool of money from which the governor can make cash grants to companies. Imaflex will begin hiring in September. The company will have the plant operational by the end of this year and most of its work force hired by June.
