Wools of New Zealand Offers Sustainable Beauty at

Marble Hill, GA, December 1, 2006--Wools of New Zealand gets to the heart of environmentalism with its Surfaces theme: “Sustainable Beauty”. The company will promote the natural, renewable, biodegradable, and health-enhancing attributes of New Zealand wool at its booth #6420. Supporting wool’s extraordinary eco-qualities are 35 Brand partners, whose Wools of New Zealand Brand carpets and rugs fill the largest dedicated space of the Sands Expo Center. Once again, Wools of New Zealand will promote the creativity of its Brand partners through its infamous Fashion Dynamics competition. Retailers are invited to view the innovative submissions and vote for Best Woven, Best Tufted and Best Color Line. All voters receive a toy sheep to add to their Wools of New Zealand sheep collection. Awards will be presented to the winning Brand partners on the final day of the show. In keeping with its “Sustainable Beauty” theme, Wools of New Zealand is introducing an all-natural carpet spotter—WoolClean Natural. The environmentally friendly spotter carries the CRI “Seal of Approval” and “WoolSafe” labels. WoolClean Natural is sold by the case and can be private labeled for Brand partners and retailers. Wools of New Zealand’s WoolClean Kits and MagicWipes, in addition to the company’s full line of brochures, point-of-sale materials and annual color forecast will be available to retailers as well. Also on display are the latest technological advancements developed by Wools of New Zealand in conjunction with technology and fiber partners, like Clariant, Trichromatic and Solutia. Wools of New Zealand continually offers its manufacturing partners new fibers and technologies to further increase their efficiency and profitability. Beyond its booth, Wools of New Zealand is spreading the word about wool by sponsoring Surfaces speaker, Deborah Burnett, ASID. Burnett is an award-winning registered interior designer, licensed building contractor, author, professional NSA speaker and national TV design expert. She is holding two seminars during Surfaces 2007: “Designing for the Senses” (course #TU08) on February 6th from 2:00-5:00 and “Showroom Design for Retail Success” (course #WE16) on February 7th from 8:00am – 9:30 on).
