Wood Flooring Firm Plans Big Expansion in India
Delhi, India, Dec. 21, 2011 -- With wooden flooring fast becoming a favored lifestyle product in urban centers, India-based BVG Krono, has drawn up an aggressive market expansion program.
The firm plans to create exclusive 'Walk Through' stores, where a customer can walk around on various textures of wooden flooring to gain the real experience of flooring made out of wood.
In addition, it has begun a program called "architect handshake," to encourage architects to opt for wooden flooring instead of conventional ceramic tiles.
Currently BVG flooring has 150 dealers, but the firm plans to add another 200 by the end of next year.
By doubling the dealer base, BVG Flooring hopes to corner 40% market share among branded players over next two years.
