WFCA, Meredith Team on New Flooring Magazine
Anaheim, CA, May 20, 2008 –The World Floor Covering Association (WFCA) and publisher Meredith Corporation have formed a joint venture to produce a consumer publication about flooring starting this fall.
The new magazine Flooring will complement WFCA’s ad campaign with Meredith, which publishes of eading shelter magazines including Better Homes & Gardens among others, which launched in December 2007 and is slated to reach over 22-million consumers.
Flooring will be published by Better Homes & Gardens Special Interest Media Group and will serve as an extended buyer’s guide to help readers understand flooring options and how to make the best selections for their home. It will serve as an extension to the association’s award-winning and highly trafficked consumer website www.wfca.org.
The new magazine will share the same distribution as the other Meredith books, including: Renovation Style, Kitchen & Bath Ideas and Beautiful Homes. It will be sold in thousands of retail outlets across the country, including newsstands, grocery, drug and home improvement stores.
WFCA will work directly with Meredith publishers and writers on content for the book and opportunities for media exposure and product placement will be made available to member manufacturers.
