WFCA Certification Programs Available Online

Anaheim, CA, March 18, 2008 -– The World Floor Covering Association (WFCA) said that the industry certification programs for all designations – Certified Flooring Professional, Certified Flooring Sales Consultant, and Certified Flooring Executive – are now available online.

The certification program, which was launched in 2002, is designed to measure a professional’s knowledge and performance. Participant members include CCA Global Partners, Abbey, Armstrong and Mohawk. As it has been in the past, overall training and coursework will remain with each organization.

The application and final examination stages of certification as well as re-certification documents can be accessed through www.wfca.org/pro/examlist.aspx.

“We aim to do what is necessary to enhance our members’ businesses and bottom line,” said Chris Davis, WFCA’s chief executive.

“Certification symbolizes excellence and achievement within the industry and provides another level of security for consumers. Providing instant access to this ‘right of passage’ was always part of our plan. Those who go through the program work long and hard for this recognition and we want to make the process as accessible for them as we possibly can.”
