Westbrook Joins Nexcel

Birmingham, AL, April 17, 2006--Steve Westbrook, formerly director of sales for Propex, will join Nexcel Synthetics as general manager of the Nexcel Synthetics Surfaces. Nexcel Synthetics Surfaces, a subsidiary of Nexcel Synthetics, is primarily in the business of artificial turf. Nexcel Synthetics is the only fully integrated manufacturer world-wide that manufactures yarn for turf, backings for turf, and provides tufting, urethane coating and hot melt coatings for the turf industry under one umbrella. Westbrook has extensive operations experience with Shaw Industries and sales experience with Propex.
