Fort Mill, SC, January 24, 2006--Wellman, Inc., announced that, effective with March 5, 2006 shipments, it will increase the price of all polyester staple fiber by 4 cents/lb.
This increase is due to the renewed resurgence in petrochemical-based raw material costs.
