Welch Named Sphinx Southwest Sales Manager

Dalton, GA, March 22, 2007--Kevin Welch recently joined Sphinx by Oriental Weavers as sales manager for the company’s southwest region.  Welch will be based in Dallas with responsibility for ten states reaching from western Tennessee to Arizona, and Louisiana to Wyoming.

An industry veteran of more than 20 years, Welch comes to Sphinx from Karastan where he served in various capacities including southwest region vice president and midwest region vice president. Most recently, he was Karastan’s mountain region vice president, supervising both rug and broadloom sales for that territory. In his new post, Welch will be responsible for developing new business and managing the sales staff in the ten southwestern states. He will report to Paul Pauluzzi, vice president of sales for Sphinx.
