Wear-Dated's Whittemore To Address WSFCA

Kennesaw, GA, Oct. 7, 2008--Wear-Dated carpet’s director of in-store innovation, Christine Whittemore, will present “How to Improve Your Retail Shopping Experience” at the Washington State Floor Covering Association’s November dinner meetings.

The two meetings will take place on Nov. 11 in Seattle, Wash., and on Nov. 12 in Spokane, Wash., at 6 p.m.

Based on a presentation titled “What Your Register Tape Doesn’t Tell You,” introduced at Surfaces ‘08 in Las Vegas, this hour-long presentation addresses the importance of creating an engaging and positive retail experience for the carpet consumer.

“Consumers face innumerable choices for their disposable dollars and won’t tolerate suboptimal shopping experiences,” says Whittemore. “Retailers who pay attention to how consumers interact with their stores create memorable experiences that consumers gravitate toward and reward with their loyalty.”

For reservations for either event, contact Debbie Tott at (425) 885-0012 or wsfca@comcast.net.  Networking at 6 p.m. and a dinner at 7 p.m. precede the presentation.
