Wear-Dated Giving Retail Seminar at Surfaces
Kennesaw, GA, Jan. 13, 2009--Wear-Dated carpet’s director of In-Store Innovation, Christine Whittemore, will present “Your Customer’s Experience: How Much Is It Costing You?” at Surfaces 2009 next month.
Wear-Dated recognizes that carpet consumers, particularly women, make shopping decisions based on their retail experience. When retailers pay attention to their store environment, customer service, and product merchandising, they’re better able to meet the needs of customers, generate repeat business, and increase profits.
On the other hand, not focusing on creating an engaging and positive retail experience for the consumer will cost a retailer significant business.
“Consumers face innumerable choices for their disposable dollars and won’t tolerate suboptimal shopping experiences, particularly in this economic environment,” says Whittemore.
The Feb. 4 seminar examines marketplace trends affecting the customer experience, identifies store elements affecting the retail experience and discusses how best to improve both the retail and customer experience to develop lasting and profitable relationships.
