Wear-Dated, Flooring America Promote Iron Girl
Clearwater, FL, March 29, 2007--Wear-Dated, sponsor of the 2007 Ryka Iron Girl National Event Series, partners with Flooring America of Florida for the upcoming Clearwater Ryka Iron Girl 10K and 5K races at Coachman Park in Clearwater, FL. Wear-Dated will promote its new marketing campaign By the Foot which offers A Foot’s Perspective of Beauty. Life. And Carpet at the event.“The Iron Girl mission to ‘empower women toward a healthy lifestyle’ is something that resonates with women who are striving to improve their lives through exercise in an environment of female camaraderie and competition. Representatives from Flooring America locations for the greater Tampa and Jacksonville areas will join Wear-Dated Representative Jodi Grace for this Iron Girl event. They will be present at the Wear-Dated booth at the Expo Village to provide advice on finding the best and most fashionable carpet solutions. Booth visitors will also receive valuable coupons for discounts off a carpet purchase at any one of the 12 local Flooring America locations.
This is the second time that Flooring America owner, Rufus Ashby, has been involved with Wear-Dated in an event. He has strong ties to the greater Clearwater and Tampa communities and experienced firsthand the benefits of participating with Wear-Dated to sponsor this event. “The folks at Ryka Iron Girl have created a dynamic and exciting venue for meeting with many of our consumers. We support their enthusiasm for adopting a better and healthier lifestyle. We are here cheering them on at this event, and are ready to help them out when they need carpet to create a better living environment at home.”
The Ryka Iron Girl Event Series hosts events across the nation, promoting a healthy, active lifestyle for women of all ages and fitness levels. The event has differentiated itself from other race events by creating numerous personal touches for the participants, from a gourmet Breakfast Café after the event, to Ryka performance technical shirts specially fitted for women, and a personalized race bib, so spectators can cheer for each runner/walker by name.
The Iron Girl Expo Village will be open during late registration/packet pick-up on Saturday, March 31 from noon-4 p.m. and on Sunday, April 1 from 6:30-7:45 a.m. The Iron Girl 5K/10K will begin at 8 a.m.
