Wear-Dated Enters Carpetology Blog in Tech Contest
Kennesaw, GA, Sept. 3, 2008--Wear-Dated has entered its Web log, The Carpetology Blog, into the Forrester Groundswell Awards for 2008 in the ‘talking’ category.
The awards, based on the book Groundswell by Forrester analysts Josh Bernoff and Charlene Li, invite companies and organizations to submit entries that represent excellent and effective use of social technologies to advance an organizational or corporate goal. Each entry is posted on the Groundswell Web page, then reviewed and rated by visitors.
Written by The Women of Wear-Dated, The Carpetology Blog focuses on all things carpet related – from carpet design ideas, color inspiration, trends and practical information on how to buy and care for carpet.
“The Carpetology Blog is all about talking to consumers and providing them with the most relevant information possible to make the right decisions about carpet,” says Christine Whittemore, director, in-store innovation. “Too often, consumers have a lousy experience buying carpet. We want to change that and elevate the category.”
The Carpetology Blog publishes three new posts each week and can be found on the Web at www.carpetology.blogspot.com.
