Välinge & Winday Develop High-Performance 5G Inserter Machine

Viken, Sweden, May 28, 2026-Välinge Innovation and Jiangsu Winday Automation Technology Co., Ltd. (Winday) have collaborated to develop a new high-performance 5G inserter machine designed to meet the evolving needs of modern flooring production. 

Välinge supports licensees worldwide with reliable, high-performing equipment suited to different factory setups and production environments, enabling manufacturers of resilient and wood-based flooring to efficiently integrate any of its 5G Fold Down technologies. The new solution is engineered for high speed, flexibility and precision and further expands the Välinge’s global machinery offering.

The new machine supports the latest generations of 5G inserts and enables seamless changeovers between different insert lengths. Equipped with advanced servo-driven systems, it delivers automatic feeding, cutting and precise insertion with high production efficiency and consistent quality. Designed for both transverse and longitudinal insertion, it enables output levels of up to 70 pieces per minute in transverse mode and up to 60 pieces per minute in longitudinal mode.
