Välinge Terminates License With Chinese Firm

Viken, Sweden, April 2, 2008--Välinge said that for the first time ever it has terminated a license for its mechanical locking system.

Välinge said laminate floor maker Changzhou Dehao Decoration Materials Co. has failed to meet its contractual requirements after signing an agreement in January of 2007.

Välinge also said that companies buying products from Dehao that use Välinge technology will also be liable for patent infringement.
