Välinge Names Kies Senior Business Development Director Europe

Viken, Sweden, December 2, 2025-Välinge Innovation has appointed Marcel Kies as senior business development director Europe, a strategic move that further reinforces its position in the European flooring market. 

Kies, widely recognized in the global flooring industry, has recently stepped into his new role at Välinge. He will work closely with importers, distributors and retailers across the region. His focus will be to strengthen partnerships, provide guidance on Välinge’s advanced flooring technologies and highlight the value these innovations bring to every level of the industry.

Kies brings experience spanning B2B and B2C markets in Europe, the Americas and Asia-Pacific, along with a track record of driving growth, developing strategic partnerships and expanding global market presence. His previous roles include president of HMTX Global, global CEO of Aspecta Flooring and sales & marketing director of Amorim Revestimentos S.A.
