Välinge Discusses Termination with Classen

Viken, Sweden, February 05, 2007--Välinge said that it has recently entered into several extensive patent and technology cooperations with other parties. It said it regrets that these agreements could not be combined with the Classen agreement.

According to the company, the main reason is that the parties have different opinions regarding the potential value of technology and patents related to the Clasen Megaloc fold down locking system.

Välinge said it continues to strengthen its patent base in the 5G fold down technology with patent cooperation and new applications. Recently Välinge has entered in a patent cooperation with Pergo and filed new patent applications covering more than 10 different versions of the 5G technology. 20 companies have already signed 5G-license agreement with Välinge.
