Välinge Director of Legal Affairs Recognized

Viken, Sweden, March 27, 2017—On March 23, Välinge director of legal affairs Marcus Palm was handed the award Swedish In-House Legal Counsel of the year during Bolagsjuristernas Förening’s (BJF) spring meeting.

The In-House Legal Counsel of the year award—a collaboration between BJF, law firm Vinge and business journal Affärsvärlden—was established five years ago with the purpose to recognize the importance of legal counsels for the business sector.

The 2017 edition of the award went to Palm for his outstanding ability to combine commercial interests with complex and challenging legal practices at a rapidly growing company based on innovation, patenting and licensing. The jury also emphasized the combination of profound knowledge in IP and strategic work, which has made Marcus a vital asset for his company’s business development and risk management.
