Valinge To Unveil New Locking Technology

Viken, Sweden, Aug. 16, 2011 --  Valinge said it has developed new locking technology that "may improve the locking function and decrease the costs."

The new technology will be presented at Välinge Expo next month, the company said.

Locking technology for flooring was introduced by Välinge in 1996 with the Alloc locking system applied on an advanced HPL floor pane with a sound insulation layer and edges impregnated with wax.

Valinge Flooring Technology, the mother company of Välinge Innovation, has developed the new technology, which the company believes may gradually replace the present one-piece locking systems in many flooring applications.
