Valinge Says Alloc First To License New System

Viken, Sweden, Oct. 13, 2010--Välinge said that Alloc is the first licensee of its new aluminium based 4G system for the long side as well as the first laminate licensee of the 5G-S side push system for the short side.

In 1996 Alloc was the first in the world to use glueless mechanical locking systems in its laminate floors.

Välinge and Alloc have signed a global license agreement, which gives Alloc the right to produce and sell laminate floor utilizing Välinge’s new 4G Aluminum system combined with the 5G-S fold down locking.

Alloc said the official launch will be at Domotex and Surfaces in January. Initially the 4G and 5G-S systems will be launched in the Prestige collection.

Alloc said it is preparing its whole production in Norway for several new innovative formats and designs.
