Valinge Gets New Chinese Patent

Viken, Sweden, June 3, 2009--Valinge said it has won a new Chinese patent that protects laminate panels with deep solid bevels and production methods related to forming of such bevels.

The core at the panel edge is compressed and the laminate surface covers the whole bevel. The advantage is that a strong solid bevelled edge with a considerable depth and with the same design as the panel surface could be formed.

The new “Solid Edge” patent is one of several new Surface Technologies that Välinge has developed.
