Valinge Could Get New Ownership

Viken, Sweden, Feb. 21, 2011 -- Valinge said that several new industrial and financial firms are interested in becoming significant investors in Valinge Innovation.

Valinge's two major investors, Välinge Invest and Nordstjernan have had an ongoing dispute this year.

In a press release, the company said that Pervan Holding AB is considering a sale of Välinge Invest, which now controls the Välinge Innovation group through its option to a controlling share of Valinge Innovation that it does not currently own.

Nordstjernan attempted to oust Darko Pervan as CEO of Välinge. Valinge said the action was coordinated with Krono.

Valinge said Krono had to accept considerably higher license fee in the recent negotiations.
