USGBC Seeks Comments on LEED Updates

Washington, DC, Feb. 14, 2012 -- The U.S. Green Building Council will begin on March 1 the third public comment period for the proposed 2012 update to its LEED green building program.

The comment period will close on Mar. 20.

This third draft of LEED has been refined to address technical stringency and rigor, measurement and performance tools.

The technical changes have been based on market data, stakeholder-generated ideas, expert engagement and advances in technology.
