USGBC Seeking Member Approval for New Construction
Washington, DC, September 29, 2005--The U.S. Green Building Council is seeking member approval to release LEED-NC version 2.2.
The member ballot is the final step in the process used to develop, test, evaluate, revise and publish LEED rating systems. Voting instructions were sent by email to the primary contact for each member organization on Wednesday, September 28th, 2005. Your organization is strongly encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to contribute to the evolution of the LEED Green Building Rating System.
In accordance with the USGBC Balloting Policy, the ballot period will be open for 30 days from Wednesday, September 28th through Thursday, October 27th, 2005 at 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.

To identify the primary contact for your organization, visit the USGBC Member database at www.usgbc.org, under Members>Member Directory and enter the name of your organization. If you are the primary contact for your organization and have not received voting instructions by email, please contact the USGBC at nc@committees.usgbc.org.
