USGBC Introduces LEED v.5

Washington, DC, September 29, 2023-The USGBC introduced LEED v.5, a green building rating system, during Greenbuild in late September.

With the release of the Future of LEED principles in June 2022, USGBC shared the foundation for the next versions of the LEED rating systems, beginning with LEED v5. Alongside an expanded corps of LEED volunteers that includes technical advisory groups, working groups and consensus committees, USGBC leadership and staff developed the new framework and requirements.
